Being alone isn't a small thing for Nea. It's the worst thing you can do to a dog like her.
Collies pick one person and stay with them for life.
What was only ever supposed to be a brief period waiting for that special person to come along and give her the home she deserves…

The staff at The Ralph have looked after her as best they can.
They love her and hate her being in that kennel as much as you do.

They don't want to do this but they have no other option.

Who she needs
- A home with no children living in it, and no children visiting regularly
- A home with no other animals, cats included
- A calm, predictable routine that does not change much
- Someone who has lived with a collie before
- Someone willing to work with a behaviourist and keep working with one
- Someone who can travel to Marlow more than once before she comes home
If you have never lived with a collie, this is probably a no. Not because you are not kind. Because she has already been let down by people who meant well, and she cannot afford another one.
A permanent home is what she needs most. But if you cannot give her that, and could give her somewhere calm to live while she waits for one, tell us that too. A foster gets her out of the kennel, and out of the kennel is where she starts to come back. It is often how these things end up as an adoption anyway.
What happens when you fill this in
It takes three minutes. We read every one. The people who fit get put in front of Nea's rehoming team at The Ralph with their answers, and you hear back from a person rather than a queue.
Nobody meets Nea yet. Not until you have been screened and spoken to. She is not being paraded in front of strangers while this is going on.

Then you are most of the people reading this, and you are still the reason this works.
Do not post this to everyone you know. Send it to one person: the one you know who has lived with a collie. Collie people are the only people who can take her, and you almost certainly know one. If they cannot take her themselves, ask them who can. Collie people know other collie people.
And if you know anyone who could foster her, even for a few months, tell them about her separately. Getting her out of that kennel is the whole fight.
